The Old World Crataegus Identification Database ("Crataegus ID Database") is now available as a free download. Notice, that the downloadable zip-file is password protected. Contact Knud Ib Christensen for the password. This database is intended as a supplement to the paper K.I. Christensen 1992. Revision of Crataegus sect. Crataegus and nothosect. Crataeguineae (Rosaceae-Maloideae) in the Old World, Syst. Bot. Monogr. 35: 1-199. It includes extensive HELP on morphological terms, etc. MEKA The MEKA multiple-entry program is downloadable from the web site of MEKA. Version 1.3 of "MEKA format key to Crataegus in W parts of the Old World" (for the new Meka Version 3.10) was recently converted to SLIKS and is now available online: Crataegus. The MEKA key is based on Christensen, K.I. 1992. Revision of Crataegus sect. Crataegus and nothosect. Crataeguineae (Rosaceae-Maloideae) in the Old World. - Syst. Bot. Monogr. 35: 1-199 (How to order a HARDCOPY), and Jonsell, B. (in prep.), FLORA NORDICA 4, Stockholm (Crataegus by K.I. Christensen), as well as other data collected and compiled by K.I. Christensen. MEKA to SLIKS It is now possible to convert MEKA keys via the SLIKS key software so that they can be displayed in a Web browser — and the above-mentioned MEKA key is now (in part) available as a SLIKS key: Crataegus. |
